3 ways to make it easy for customers to pay you
Your customers value your product or service. But when it’s time for them to pay up, are you making it difficult? Carol Roth, national media personality and bestselling author, explains what could be standing in the way of you and added revenue.
Properly trained employees
Your sales staff should be able to answer basic questions, provide recommendations, and (if applicable) up-sell additional services. These front-line employees are the “face” of your business. Make sure to give them all the information a customer might need.
Having a website is as necessary for a company as having a phone number. But if your site isn’t user-friendly, it’s doing more harm than good. Make sure your customers can find the information they need quickly and easily. And don’t forget to include your business’s contact information.
A good payment processor
At the end of the day, your customers really do want to pay you. Make sure you're not inadvertently putting up a roadblock — and accept a wide variety of payment options including Bank of America Merchant Services, eCommerce payment gateways and POS devices.
